Hellesylt Hydrogen Hub Becomes the First RFNBO-Certified Hydrogen Production Site in Norway

Norwegian Hydrogen is proud to announce that Hellesylt Hydrogen Hub obtained its RFNBO certification on 31 Jul 26, issued by ISCC – the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification.

The certification confirms that renewable hydrogen produced at Hellesylt complies with the EU’s requirements for Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBO), covering strict criteria for sustainability, renewable electricity sourcing, and full traceability from power source to end-product.
