Rome accelerates the ecological transition with a plan of over 110 million euros that will bring a new fleet of electric and hydrogen buses to the street.

The operation is made possible by the resources of MIT – Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport – assigned by the Metropolitan City to Rome Capital, which thanks to the signing of the agreement with Atac has unlocked the funding for the operational phase. The Capitoline transport company will directly employ the 110 million to buy the new vehicles and modernize the deposits.

The new buses will be zero emissions and equipped with all comforts: accessibility for people with reduced mobility, air conditioning, USB sockets, video surveillance and passenger counter.
